Within the ever-evolving field of graphic design, logos go beyond being simple symbols; they function as narratives, almost everyone speaks and writes about them. They have the capacity to articulate the core identity, principles, and even the future aspirations of a brand. As we analyze the latest developments in logo design, we discern how they mirror our societal landscape, technological progress, and artistic growth.

In 2024, upcoming logo design trends are expected to follow the current trajectory, encompassing a range from vibrant color choices to creative typography. Each trend communicates a distinct vibe and meaning. These trends offer insights into our present priorities, emotions, and future aspirations.

Here are few logo design trends that you may come across in 2025, based on the evolving design landscape:

Simplicity with Depth: Logos that appear simple at first glance but hold hidden layers of meaning or depth upon closer inspection. This could involve minimalist designs with subtle gradients or overlapping elements.

Responsive Logos: Logos that adapt and respond to different contexts, such as various screen sizes or platforms. This could involve dynamic logos that change slightly depending on where they’re displayed.

Sustainable Design: As environmental concerns continue to grow, logos that reflect sustainability and eco-friendliness could become more prominent. This might involve the use of earthy colors, organic shapes, or symbols representing sustainability.

Abstract Geometric Shapes: Geometric shapes have always been popular in logo design, but in 2025, we might see a rise in abstract interpretations of these shapes. Think unconventional arrangements or distorted geometries that create unique visual identities.

Interactive Logos: With advancements in technology, logos could become more interactive, especially in digital spaces. This might involve animated elements, hover effects, or even gamification within the logo design.

Typography as a Focus: Logos where typography takes center stage, with creative use of fonts, letterforms, and negative space to convey the brand’s message or personality. Hand-lettered or custom typefaces could also be popular choices.

Minimalist Illustrations: Incorporating simple, clean illustrations into logos to add a touch of personality without overwhelming the design. This could involve stylized icons or symbols that represent the brand’s values or offerings.

Gradient Meshes: Gradient meshes add depth and dimension to logos, creating a more immersive visual experience. In 2025, we might see gradient meshes used in creative ways to enhance logo designs, adding richness and texture.

Nostalgic Revival: Drawing inspiration from design trends of the past, particularly from the 80s and 90s, to create logos that evoke nostalgia while still feeling fresh and relevant. This could involve retro color schemes, vintage typography, or throwback motifs.

Cultural Fusion: Logos that blend elements from different cultures or traditions to create a sense of inclusivity and diversity. This might involve incorporating symbols, patterns, or motifs from various cultural backgrounds to reflect a globalized world.

At Vere Design, we understand that it is essential for graphic designers to strike a balance between contemporary trends and enduring principles of effective design, ensuring that each logo is customised to suit the distinct requirements and identity of the brand it represents.

Are you trying to establish and build a brand? What does your business? What do you do? How do you do it better than anyone else?

Now that you’ve answered yourself at all of these questions and you know for sure what you want and what are you aiming for it’s time to make a difference.

Building a strong brand follows certain steps:

Define why you’re in business.

Consider what you want people to think when they hear your name.

Think about the words you want people to use when defining your business.

Pinpoint the advantages you want people to associate with your business.

Define your brand.

Build your brand through every impression that you make.

Once you followed all these steps and you know the brand image that you want to project don’t try to change your brand image unless you’re certain that this image its no longer appropriate for the market.

Your brand is the public representation of your business, so stick with the brand you build. Set a goal and follow your passion. Be consistent and commit to discipline.

When people see your logo or hear your name a set of images arises. Those images define your brand in their mind.

Look at your business through a customer’s or prospect’s eyes as you define your brand.

Who to call for help:

A copyrighter – writes headlines and text.

A designer – graphic artist – arranges headlines, text and art elements so they are visually appealing.

A producer – if you are creating a broadcast ad, a video, or a multimedia presentation.

A web designer – development of site visuals, content and navigation.

An agency or marketing firm – handles entire campaigns, from strategic and concept development through design, copywriting, production management and implementation of printing, advertising and digital communications.

At Vere Design we can offer you all of these services. Brand Identity Packages available. We create customized solutions for our clients when producing materials for their businesses in the most professional way possible.

Creative people and agencies lose enthusiasm quickly when clients over-manage and stifle the creative process. If you want to attract great work to your project allow the specialists the creative freedom to do amazing work on your behalf.

Stay involved. A direct correlation exists between great agency work and great interest at the top levels of the client organization. Be open to ideas and be constructive with your criticism.

Shape you business’s future!

Every business has something to say, to show and to offer. Generally, every product that is out there on the market is bought by someone who needs it, who are attracted by it, by the person’s feelings or wantings.

Now, how we create the right emotions with colour in web design?

Well, according to Wikipedia, in the visual arts, colour theory or colour theory is a body of practical guidance to color mixing and the visual effects of a specific colour combination.

According to colour theory, harmonious color combinations use any two colors opposite each other on the color wheel, any three colors equally spaced around the colour wheel forming a triangle, or any four colours forming a rectangle (actually, two pairs of colors opposite each other). The harmonious colour combinations are called colour schemes – sometimes the term ‘colour harmonies’ is also used. Colour schemes remain harmonious regardless of the rotation angle.

If you can’t trust your own judgment, understand and rely on the basics of colour theory to always pick the right colours.

In a study titled “Impact of colour on marketing” researchers found that up to 90% of snap judgments made about products can be based on colour alone.

Our advice is to use the next steps when you think colour for your website:

Choose the right dominant colour for your website and brand.

Combine complementary colours to create your perfect color scheme.

Choose a background colour that works for you.

When choosing your colours start by choosing your boldest colour, and then choose the others with the first colour in mind.

If you don’t know where to start, nowadays are lots of websites that show popular colour schemes, which you can quickly browse and easily incorporate any of the codes for your need, either to use the colour code in your logo, website or other graphic materials that are waiting to be created for your business.

Colour is such a fundamental part of the way we perceive the world that we often take it for granted.

We recommend applying Colour Theory in everyday life, either is food, clothes or business.
